Quick calculation:

one 4core cpu -> 4c/8t

Two 4core cpus -> 2x4c/2x8t -> 8c/16t

One 8 core -> 8c/16t

And i dont like to have the on-board graphics on the i series

No 2011v3 i7 CPUs have an iGPU. 115x i7/i5 chips do.

Some people here do it for even longer and have much more experience than me especially when it comes to servers but you are clearly wasting your money on buying this.

Start a new Thread containing the following:

1. What is this system for? List everything you wanna do. With every programm you are using

and simply everything. All details.

2. List your budget but say you want to keep it as low as possible

3. Ask nicely for people to setup a build for you.

4. Profit.

Personally i'd go for a little something like i showed you before but let the others discuss it also.

That way you are getting the best result possible.
