Sli causing video playback issues

ok a few months ago i upgraded my PC to sli but just recently i have been getting flickering in every video player except youtube disabling sli fixes this so does disabling hardware acceleration for google chrome but this causes the strangest screen tearing i have  ever seen making youtube impossible to watch.  I would much rather prefer a way to make this work without turning sli on and off every time i try to do my school work what are my options/anything i can troubleshoot?

ok well i fixed my problem by using nvida inspector to disable sli for chrome i did try this already but its listed as chrome not google chrome
