I've got 7 quick questions. Some are similar though any help is appreciated.

1. X^2=144

2. X:10 = 1000:X

Find X

3. A/B = 15/12; a+b/b = ?/12

4. 6(X+6)/15 = X-44/2

5. The second term in the proportion 5/201 = 10/402 is?

6. K+5/5(K-10) = 29/58

7. X^2 = 1936

Either I am just feeling stupid or maybe because it is late. Thanks

ok for 1 and 7 just do the square root...  <_<

For number 2, you need to find the common denominator for both.

Your equation would be this:

x/10=1000/x. The common denominator would be 10x. Multiply both sides by 10x, and the 10 on the left cancels, and the x on the right cancels.

I can't be bothered to copy paste them all, but use wolfram-alpha for help rather then asking forum members.

Here's the first two.

Awkward situation, this is a crossword puzzle for fudging math.  3 digit number, starts with 1 ends in 5.

5.) Not sure what's being asked

It's simpler than it looks; I think they mean 20/804

1.) X = 12 (or -12)
2.) X = 100 (or -100)
3.) ? = 27
4.) X = 244
5.) Not sure what's being asked
6.) K = 21/4
7.) x = 44 (or -44)

Thanks!
