Even though, to be honest, on my desktop I only really have the Computer, Network, and Recycle Bin icons (so no shortcut icon there). Then on my laptop I just stopped caring finally. :P

I too hardly have anything, just my recycle bin, web browser, steam and antivirus. But it's always good to have it, as you never know what you might throw down.  :)

I tend to just throw shit on my desktop for a while and then at some point in time I'll clean it up. Kinda like my laptop. Its desktop is getting covered with car parts.

Someone else suggested this, but I'm unsure if it will be effective. I was taught this was so I just showed it off. If you try it and it works let me know!  :)

Works, like i tought.

Wouldnt be in the "Explorer" tab in the Regedit Registry otherwise xp
