Nvidia 3d vision kit 2

Does anyone have the nvidia 3d kit? And how is it?

Unsure if this is supposed to be here or in off topic, sorry if misplaced

I've been meaning to buy it for awhile, but I'd sorta like some opinions on how it is, I've had my 3 3d monitors for like 4 months now and I always forget to buy the glasses when I have money, and I have the money now, but I also need to buy the rest of my watercooling parts so IDK.

I still need:  2 480 60mm thick rads, (which are always sold out -.-) a pump, fittings, another GPU block, and 4 more nf-f12's

What would you like to know about it in particular?

+It works seemlessly with the driver

-Most games don't work properly with it, some games look significantly worse in 3d compared to 2d

-The glasses are a stupid design, there is a GLOSSY rim around the lenses that is incredibly distracting

3d is a bit rubbish tbh I would suggesting putting the money into watercooling.

its mostly just the AAA titles that work with it right? They dont pay much attention to the lesser-type games?

Some games it can look great, even though you have to turn certain settings off. One example is skyrim where it looks quite good.

Other games looks terrible. The original GRID was one I tried last - you had to turn off all game shadows because they didn't render properly. So it was 3d but completely shadowless. Ergh.

Tbh it's just another silly idea from the gpu manufacturers that gets in the way of gaming imo.

It would be ideal if you knew someone nearby with one to try it out to see if you like it.

mk, I'll probably just buy rads instead and save more $ for the rest of the watercooling stoofs.  Only hard part is now finding a dam site that actually has 480mm rads in stock.. -.-
