LED lights before system starting up

I have an ASUS X99-A/USB 3.1 motherboard, with i7-5820k, Corsair4x8G DDR4 2600Mhz RAM, and a EVGA 980 TI Classified GPU. SSD as my OS, and HDD as storage

 

The problem I am having is that every time I start my PC, the CPU-LED light will light up, and disappear in a few seconds(3-5), then the GPU-LED will light up, then disappear in a few seconds(3-5), after this, my PC actually starts to starting up.

 

I just want to know if this is normal or not, thanks!
