Alright, I'm thinking way-way-way ahead for now,

So, I'll have a budget of $500 and would preferably like to re-use the loop for the generation after Skylake so, lets say 4790k ---> 7600k (just pulling out names based on Skylake)

Alright, so this would be my first time EVER considering a custom loop, So for now, I'd preferably start small with a CPU/Mobo block (Maybe)

so lets throw together a list, shall we?

https://shop.ekwb.com/ek-xres-140-revo-d5-pwm-incl-pump EK-XRES 140 RevoD5 PWM (inc. pump)      ($153)

https://shop.ekwb.com/ek-coolstream-ce-420-triple  EK-CoolStream SE 420 (Tripple)                    ($100)

https://shop.ekwb.com/ek-vardar-f4-120er-2200rpm EK-Vardar F4-120ER (x3)                                      ($60)

                                                                                                                                                  $109Remaining on Fittings and Tubing

And as for the tubing, fittings and such, I need help from you guys to decide, also verify that this look good because surprise surprise I wanna get this right the first time. Note: I will most likely change cases and PSU's in the this time period

So TL;DR does the list look good, And what should I get for fittings/tubing, If anyone else has a better suggestion, please feel free to post below (sorry first time)

edit:

Fixed with Interfectorem's suggestion

That's a ridiculous amount to spend on just a reservoir TBH. Get something like this instead, or alternatively this if you want a glass reservoir (I can vouch for this option, I own one and it's great). Getting a Pump + Reservoir combo unit allows you spend money on two less fittings which will lower the overall cost, not to mention its convenience. Apart from that, everything looks good and I wish you luck and fun on your watercooling voyage, because I sure as hell did enjoy it.

Wouldn't you get a new board so you can finally run 5.1ghz again because you said you degredated your board and thats why you couldnt run your 5.1ghz in Cinebench anymore.

What good is a new loop if you can't run 5.1ghz?

[removed]

I recommended a new board, I'm trying to be helpful here.

You said you degredated your board, 24/7 clocks are more important then getting a loop for the looks.

Get a MCP355 and a proper res, will look better and will be easier to fill.

240mm for a highly clocked 4790k (presuming high voltage and therefore high wattage, and more heat dissipation needed)... and a 970

get a bigger rad..

will do, perhaps getting something like http://www.swiftech.com/MCR140-X.aspx for the 970? just as a quick solution

or would you recommend 1 360mm rad?

well if you have the money go with compressions

and as for tubing.. i dont think size matters to badly..

So get a pack of these

https://shop.ekwb.com/ek-tube-zmt-matte-black-15-9-9-5mm-3m-retail

https://shop.ekwb.com/ek-acf-fitting-10-16mm-black-2and how many compression fittings would you suggest?

($91.50 cents left including tubing)

then everything should be alright, Correct?
