I've never really had any problems with temps, much less in the basement.

It does collect dust down there, though.

I've pulled my HDD directly out (front bay) after a big file transfer before, to check how hot it felt, and it wasn't notably warm.

I'm not at my desktop right now, but when I get back to it I'll be sure to give you the temps.

Okay, I've checked the temps and my HDD and SSD are sitting at 38C and 26C respectively.

I'll screw around a bit and see what max temps they can hit.

CPU is at 4.6Ghz on 1.3v under a Hydro H110i GT and tops out at ~60C, first GPU is under a Hydro H55 and tops out at ~66C, second GPU is a TF 780 and tops out at ~75C, hottest sensor on my motherboard tops out at ~45C, my HX1000i tops out at ~50C, and I don't think my RAM has a thermal sensor.
