So when I update my computer (Running genuine Windows 7 Pro) it occasionally gives me a boot error saying that the necessary drives aren't connected, and that I need to repair windows via my disk. So far I've been able to fix this by disconnecting my SSD and HDD, then reconnecting them. But I need windows to simply function. I think the Intel 320 series 160GB SSD (Which has the OS on it) is the problem, as I bought it used and Intel 320 SSD's have been known for having problems. In order to fix this, I'd need to install it on my HDD, which I don't want to do, as I spent money on the SSD. What do you think is causing this? How can I fix it? Can I test if my SSD is working?

I have installation media. But will that fix it? It seems like that will just keep happening, and I'll need to keep repeating it everyone I turn the thing on.

either use the oem disk to repair it or you will have to do a clean install of windows.

What I really need is to know what's causing this. I used SSD Life pro, which said that my SSD is fine. But then what's going on? I think it would be the BIOS, but then after I have the problem if I restart it after unplugging my HDD and SSD, then restart it AGAIN with the SSD and HDD connected, it works just fine. I've tried switching the SATA ports, but I can't try different Sata cables, as I don't have any. What is causing this problem, and what can I do about it?
