The rating isn't for performance. Scroll down. They have a performance section for a reason.

 

CPU Boss is crap

Only way to actually compare cpu's is too look at benchmarks

There are firestrike and geekbench scores on cpuboss.

Use UserBenchmark.

Great website for all sorts of things.

Use UserBenchmark.

i'm backing this, while i have little experience with it, nor fully understand how their benchmarking process works, they pass the sniff test to find any anomalies (like passmark's very obvious r9 295x2 scoring below the r9 290, and the r9 390 scoring below the gtx770)

i've actually went over this in a thread quite a while ago, with someone that went ahead and tried. their benchmarking process is strangely short, but accurate somehow.

I don't know how, but it works and it's effective.
