Posted September 2, 2013 So as we all now Battlefield 4 is coming out next month and so are quite a few other games. So I was looking for a way to make my gaming experience better! After a lot of googling I finally came down to 3 items I think would be a good idea to get. But if I was only to get one, as I only have the money for one at the moment, would it be the Asus Xonar Essence STX, Razer Ouroboros or the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate. Any advice would be great, many thanks Matt.

Posted September 2, 2013 I'd go for the Soundcard if you already own a nice set of headphones. For a keyboard, I'd go with a G710+ AMD FX 8350, ASUS GTX 770 DirectCUII, ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0, CORSAIR TX 750, CORSAIR VEANGENCE BLACK 8GB'S 1600Mhz, Hyper 212 evo, Aerocool Strike-X GT, Crucial M4 128GB SSD, Seagate Baracuda 2TB, Asus CrapReader
 Posted September 2, 2013 If you're buying a keyboard, definitely go with a Ducky or a Filco. Posted September 2, 2013 great sound really wakes up a game for me. I am not familiar with your headset but if its good quality a sound card may be your best bet because its not something you will have to upgrade any time soon so you can use it on your next pc as well. Posted September 2, 2013 Don't buy the sound card, onboard audio is enough. If you really do want one, get an external one like the Fiio E10. Seriously, don't get an internal soundcard. Get the keyboard first in my opinion but look at other brands like Ducky, Corsair, and CM Storm. You can also look at a O2 + ODAC instead of a soundcard. Ducky makes very good quality keyboards, no need for bloatware as it runs on default Windows driver....comes with various lighting effects with various color and switch types. Filco is a tad better actually, but is rather staid, some might even call them boring.....not me though, I love my Filco's. Razer, pardon my slightly potty mouth, is all fart and no shit, build quality isn't up to Ducky (though Razer fanboys would disagree) and is more likely to give you problem than a Ducky. People associate Razer with good gaming peripherals because they spend a crapload on marketing. I'm not saying Razer doesn't have good gaming products, they do, like the DA 2013, but their mechanical keyboards aren't exactly the best around.....
