Problem with GTX 960

Playingkoko

I have installed gtx 960 before a few days and i saw i have stuttering and lag. On GTA V on Normal settings without FXAA or MSAA i get 45 fps (Maximum) outside the city. When i enter the city i get about 32. If i turn everything on very high except water and grass quality i get almost the same fps.On NBA2k16 i've noticed i get 50 fps and it's still lagging. I have MSI GTX 960 4GB and i7 4790k + 8 GB of RAM . Please help!

Try a clean install of the newest drivers, if you have not done so already.

Also use monitoring programs like gpuz to see if you gpu usage is at 99%.

Do you have the 2gb or 4gb version of the 960, as gta 5 can be a vram hog.

Or PSU is shit. Or board is crap.

My PSU is a Cooler master  GM with 750watts don t think that's the problem and i have the latest drivers of nVidia installed. VRAM usage ingame is about 1302 of 3800 or so since i play on normal and still manage to get bad fps. I didn't istall the drivers from the CD inside the box of Msi gtx 960 tho because my case doesn't have a dvd burner ( NZXT H440)
