Fans + water cooling?

If I was to get the new fans corsair showcased earlier today CES would it work with water cooling? Are the fans worth getting?

If they are static pressure optimized fans, they are good for water cooling. If they are airflow optimized fans, they are not.

Not neccisairily incompatible. Airflow fans are optimized to move air with no restrictions around them, so they are good for cases. However static pressure optimized fans are good for moving air with ristrictions in front of them, at the cost of airflow. Jayz two cents has a great vid on this, ill link it just gimme a sec.
