MOTHERBOARD CAUSES RAM THROTLE!?!?!?!

it was literally in the oc options of the Bios...i scrolled down clicked memory frequency and selected 1533...i can change it back i just want to know if what i did was the right thing to do

There's nothing wrong with it. It's not going to hurt anything.

ok i was afraid i accidently doubled the speed of my ram...that wouldnt be a good thing :huh:

ive built like 5 computers I just don't mess with bios much...absolutely love technology

As long as it's stable, it's fine. If the RAM was originally at 1333, you didn't double the speed at all. It's been raised by about 15%.
