How do Silverstone AP123s perform?

I would like this thread to be about people and their experiences with the AP123 as I would like to know more about them and that there are not a lot of sources of information regarding this fan.

The main things I would like to know are the performance and the noise level. Even if you only know someone who uses this fan, please feel free to post. The more information the better :)

They weren't silent for me. I have 3 of them, and they are quiet loud at 12 volt 1500 rpm. Personally, I needed to limit the rpm to ~1000 to make them quiet, but they were still louder that Noctua NF-P12 at similar rpm. The good thing about AP123s though, is that the "directional flow" thing really works well. They also undervolt well.

I would actually look into AP121s rather than AP123s. Based on the spec on Silverstone website (don't personally have AP121 yet), it has higher static pressure, higher air flow, and lower noise level than AP123s. I don't see a reason to choose AP123 over AP121.

I think I might just wait for those beautiful Noctua black fans. Even with the brown the in corners, they will still look amazing while performing well =)
