turn down your OC a touch.

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

Turn down your overclock on that AMD chip

(Still doesn't understand why people OC AMD chips)

AMD used to have great OC margins. not quite as true anymore. they aren't as stable now.

you can't even get into the BIOS?

did you OC with AMD overdrive?

reset the CMOS, and try again, then when you boot windows do it in safe mode and tell AMD overdrive to stop OC at boot.

Try using your motherboard's integrated graphics and see if there is any output.

So your pc is able to turn on but does not boot into anything? Put on some headphones and see if you can hear the pc booting into the os with the windows start up sound.

My mobo don't have I/O for graphics. The FX's have no gpu.

I overclock just using my motherboard BIOS. I did a rather docile overclock since the FX turbos up to that speed

okay, do you have a spare shitty GPU? try it, if it doesn't work you should RMA your CPU. you might have popped the sucker.

Most likely a problem with the motherboard. Same thing happened to me once, pc powers on but no boot and display. If you have any pc parts lying around like a cpu, gpu etc. test them with the motherboard to confirm that its the motherboard that's causing the problem and not anything else. If you have confirmed that the problem lies with the motherboard, then all that you can do is to claim its warranty and get it replaced or something.

Yah am pissed. Am only 17, I put $300 Canadian myself in to that PC. My mom fucking surprise me with a check for $460 for X-mas!

Also on that Xmas I have to send her off in a ambulance. She has spina bifida (look it up) and the associated complications with it, cant work or drive, living off the government. I just had become really stressed out and depressed over her and my situation. I had a mental breakdown and went off with my father just before brake for xmas. She so desperate to have me back that she cleaned our house top to bottom, since it had become un-liveable. In the process she severely aggravate the pain she was in.

It not been very good mate.

tough it out man. if you have to, once you get 18 you can do the whole work thing and help her monetarily if you have too. i know many that have had to help support their parents in times of need.

i'd only pay a shop to test it for you if you don't have parts, if you can, ask if you can barrow parts for a short time at your local mom and pop.

I know this is a dumb suggestion, but try re-seating the RAM? Always seemed to have gotten me in my old IT days.

I don't think you have to pay for them to the diagnosis it. Hey I bought my mobo amd gpu parts from there so if something is dead I don't have to go anywhere.
