So using Handbrake and the Libdvdcss.dll workaround im ripping my dvd and blu-ray collection, but im wondering how i can speed Handbrake up, Its on the High quality preset encoding to MP4.

Would i get a better upgrade for a newer GPU or from a better CPU? or is there a different program i should be using that is actually able to use more than one cpu core?

Handbrake uses all cores (and threads) perfectly fine on my 4770K. It does not utilize the GPU.

I rip all disks raw with MakeMKV and if necessarry re encode it using handbrake using the queue feature with multiple files (If files are too big)

Just finished ripping 270 disks total.
