So, I just got myself a shiny new X99-S motherboard.

The thing with it is, I am getting memory issues.

Four of the RAM slots (the four grey ones) are fine, and are recognised by the board when memory is installed. But if the memory is installed in any of the other four (the black ones), it just plain doesn't recognise the existence of the memory. Is this because the four grey ones are the primary ones, and it won't use the black ones unless the four grey ones are filled? The motherboard mini display thing gets stuck at code 53 when it starts with the memory in the black slots.

Thanks for the help!
