Hello!

I want to build my own pc and it's my first time. I've been researching/studying for quite sometime. I want to learn more so I can plan better before purchasing the parts for my pc building purpose. Still undecided which components to use that's why I need some guidance and I think this is the right place for it. I'll check the availability of your suggested components. Thank you very much in advance ✌️.

Location: Philippines

Budget: 60,000 PHP (1USD = 47PHP | 1CAD = 34PHP)

Purpose: Programming (Eclipse, Netbeans, DB Apps) | Gaming (MMORPGS, MOBAs)

Monitor: Single (1080p)

OS: Win 7 (64bit)

Parts there are quite a bit more there than they are in the US at least. Jer45's build would probably put you over budget, not sure by how much though. judging by that price list, parts in the US are anywhere for 10% to 30% cheaper

If you can squeeze in a few more php, I would suggest you get a dual pack Corsair AF120. Also, that is only a single RAM and if you want a dual channel 8GB Kit, there is a Corsair Vengeance LPX (Dual) 2x4gb 2400 CL14 for P3,340.

(Made it into a table to look more organized. You can use ctrl + f when you visit https://tipidpc.com/useritems.php?username=PCHub and enter a few of each item's letters to easily locate them.)

@flexluthor: Thanks!

Question: Is it still "okay" to use Intel 4th Gen CPUs? I've read many positive reviews about i5 4690/K... Any builds using it that will suit my needs? Thanks in advance

It is okay but not a good investment in the Philippines since it's only $11 less for a 4690k and $20 less for a 4790k compared to a skylake equivalent and the z97 mobos are around the same price as the z170 if not, more. If you do plan to go with a 6600k, it's also a very good cpu and you could either put the remaining money to buy a 390x, an h110i cooler or saving it.
