  1. Unfortunately I've had problems when using sudo on the terminal. I'll try to do it again when I return as it might just be some kind security setting.
  2. It's saying "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk is of the GPT partition style." I've searched around and found this: http://macriot.com/mcrt/?p=2362 . They said Boot Camp (I guess newer Boot Camps since my old Boot Camp from Mountain Lion worked flawlessly) was inadvertently changing the drive's identification from gpt to a hybrid GPT/MBR disk thus resulting in that error. I'm installing Windows 10 btw, tried 7 but El Capitan's Boot Camp doesn't seem to support it despite saying it supports Windows 7 and up on its window. Oh, I see. I'll try looking for one. Thanks
  3. Oh, cool thanks. I know one way though but for some reason, I have to pay for an os I already own.
  4. I had El Capitan for about 6 months now but I've decided to reinstall Windows as I needed more space for the latter. Upon setting up bootcamp, all went well until I reached the windows installation wherein it prompted me that my hard drive was of GPT, there seems to be a problem with El Capitan's way of creating the partition compared to previous OSes so I just decided to restore my mac to its factory settings since I've wanted to format it too anyway. Question is, when I'm on recovery mode, which OS will be installed on my newly formatted partition? The Old OS that came with my mac back when it was purchased or my new OS which is El Capitan?
  5. Out of curiosity though, can your isp differentiate between watching a video and downloading it using something like idm or any other browser download plugin?
  6. 1. Noctua NH-D15 (looks ugly as hell though) 2. Cryorig R1 Ultimate (black with white) 3. be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 (black)
  7. G502. Still waiting for a wireless mmo mouse that's not razer though.
  8. So you're planning on creating a highly successful game using free assets? Here's your Map: https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/6459 Here's your Zombie: https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/30232
  9. Wtf's wrong with their service page. Most of the buttons don't work, closes another one (I would guess a conflicting id), don't have anything inside and just looks weird being almost identical under different categories. This is something like a web development teacher would use as an example of a bad website.
  10. God, the amount of people in that thread who are all over that product just killed me a bit inside. Does anyone really believe this garbage? Razer is becoming more like a cult (or most probably already is).
  11. Kinda reminds me of this topic: Anyways, to be very blunt with you, the people who are competent enough for this kind of job would most probably just do their own thing since it's more practical rather than taking a chance on this. Unless you have a more definite (and reasonable) payment, this project most likely wouldn't come into fruition. But just a hint, since your game mostly contains basic coding, I'd invest heavily on the art to make it appealing and bearable. That would mean good environmental artists, texture artists and a somewhat good 3d artist (depends on the animation required) to create a mesh with a rig that can do good deforms for the animations. For game meshes such as swords, guns and etc, the 3d artist would most likely create them since if he can create an organic mesh, he could most certainly create a stationary mesh (be careful though, it can't be the other way around because there are 3d modelers out there who aren't very good with anatomy and dare I say it, some of them don't even know anatomy at all so you need a sculptor/organic mesh artist rather than your average modeler or at least a decent enough modeler that knows basic deformations).
  12. I'm dying to see another similar product just to see if Min Liang Tan goes apeshit again.
  13. I'm no professional guitarist nor even consider myself to be even remotely good but I played a few church songs for our ministry for special occasions and found this to be the sole reason not to continue pursuing it. I tried using a pick but I needed precision to make it work so I had to keep looking at it until I eventually grew tired because I wanted to strum the guitar not only with my hands but without looking as well. But then my cousin gave me the bass position and I couldn't have been more happier since I could freely strum without hitting other strings. tl;dr = either get a pick, get used to it and hopefully you'll come around or use the bass instead.
