Will be a clear soft tubing build (Prolly will change to hard line later down the road)

Pic for reference

My brother recommended white (I kinda think it would look good as well)

Any recommendations? Thanks! :)

Pastel has color shifts after 5 months of use especially in higher heat conditions

Watch this for the evidence of color change and the white gunk it leaves in your fittings and blocks

I knew about mayhems via jay's channel (hence my due diligence)

Any recommendations you can offer?

Blaze it. But yeah, the general thought is that when pastel has more heat added into the system, it changes the color and kinda turns into a big mess. JayzTwoCents did a few videos covering just the effects he was seeing.

K so stupid question, I need to add an anti inhibitor to those primochill fluids?

Well based on their premixed red I'm reading.

The clear I would just need to find a DYE and it'll be good to go?

Nope! You only need anti bio stuff in straight distilled water

I feel you

Watercooling is annoying but very rewarding

(IF you REALLY want a challenge do some hardline it will look 100x better and would prevent de-colouration of your tubes. Jay makes a really good tut on how to bend)

To be fully honest I'm not scared to do hardline (between me and my brother it'd be pretty manageable)

Reason I opt'd for soft tube is due to my upgrade patterns :P

And one last question, I'm looking for dyes and primochill apparently sells some UV red that I like (couldn't find a white dye) http://www.primochill.com/product/primochill-intensifier-transparent-fluid-dye-uv-red/

A) Will that react with LEDs

and

B) Know of any good white dyes? :P

Thanks a ton

I think primochill makes some opaque fluid just search for opauqe and that will be white

And the fluid wont only react with UV lights not just LED's

I'd like to add that the pastel on jaytwocents CPU loop didn't change color... ONLY his GPU loop which he said on his video could be either the excessive heat from 3 GPU's or the new radiator he installed that wasn't cleaned before use.

I've been using mayhems pastel white for over 9months and I've flushed out once and reused the fluid with no discolouration and/or debris deposits.

That is rule of thumb but i saw one guy claim he were using tap water for 2 years and nothing else without any problems i still wouldent risk that :)

That makes me cringe that someone did that

Its like 5 bucks for a gallon of distilled water

like pls

The CPU loop did darken as well.

However I have found posts saying its great and posts saying its shit

It seems to vary

With those cables red.

Red and white wouldn't look bad I don't think?

Besides I can put my blue fan rings on for Murica theme

I've carried out this test on my rig twice now.

using EK Premix clear coolant and Mayhems Pastel white..fans, pump speed and GPU/CPU clock settings the same.. NOT A DIFFERENCE IN MAX TEMP RECORDED...
