New Computer Will Not POST, Dead MOBO?

Started with and completed all of these steps:

 

The machine does power up, but my screen remains black (no POST).

 

The only parts I did not try involve another GPU (don't have one sitting around).

 

All fans, lights and parts (MOBO, CPU, GPU) all power on and run but I do not receive any image. Monitor is good, using it right now.

 

All parts are compatible with each other and PSU is good (other came DOA).

 

My MOBO doesn't give any beep sounds when starting either. If i remove any components, nothing. I even removed all of the RAM and didn't get a beep.

 

I'm assuming my MOBO needs to be sent back but just wanted to be sure.

for fun........ use 1 stick of ram in the farthest slot from the cpu and reset cmos. boot

 

 

 

and I see this has onboard graphics so ........... hook monitor to MB then boot.

still nothing unfortunately.

 

For added fun I even tried it with and without the graphics card. Nada

so does this mean the MB is dead?

you pulled the gpu out of the case and hooked the monitor to the MB? or did you leasve the card in the pci-e slot? if so, pull it.

 

only 1 drive installed and it  does NOT have an operating system installed right? ( you didn't swap parts and use the old drive all set to go with all the old data ).

I pulled the card out.

 

only 1 drive, had my SSD hooked up and then tried another drive too just in case. There is nothing on the drives. Straight out of the package
