Just recently I started to get low FPS lag in every game I play. However whenever I start to download games from steam while running the games the FPS seems to fix itself and go back to what it used to be. The games as said before used to work perfectly fine without any problems. I have tried switching between having the games on a Samsung 240GB SSD and a 1TB hard drive and the problems still occurred. I have a GTX 970 with a Intel Xeon E3-1241 3.5 GHz processor and a ASROCK Z97 Anniversary motherboard. I am also running windows 10 and just recently updated from windows 7 but do not remember if the problem started when I updated. I have also installed and updated what I believe is every driver.
