New AMD gpu driver

Hey all,

 

Every time i install the latest amd crimson driver from the amd site my pc just locks up randomly wich forces me to do a hard reboot. When i let windows 10 install the drivers for me wich is a CCC version the problem seems to disappear. Annyone else who has this issue ? should i worry about some issue with my GPU? the problem also remains when i preform a clean install of windows and then use the amd crimson driver.

Likely Windows 10 doesn't like the new driver for some reason.

there was 16.1 Hotfix released on 7th of January it notes

 

Resolved Issues:

[82887] The driver installer appears to hang at various stages of the install process

ive also tried it way before that date and the crimson driver bugged out there aswell for me :S:(

that's a resolved issue

 

just stick to ccc in that case no big deal
