Tried overclocking my HIS 7950 in MSI Afterburner, and crashed immediately when I started furmark. You may think I set it too high, but I only raised the memory speed and gpu core speed by like 10mhz. Anyone got any ideas why this is happening? Currently using crimson 15.12 drivers.

No reason to be a dick, rookie.

Fur mark is fine for quick stability tests. But it does put an extra hard and repetitive strain on the GPU.

You might have got a poor overclocking GPU and there is nothing you can do about it. What are the actual core clocks you are getting?

When in doubt, re-format.

Let me rephrase, I have games, just none intense enough to be worth bench marking

Well current it's 925mhz for core clock, and 1250mhz for memory clock. Raised each about 10 when it crashed, and I doubt there's a gpu bad enough where it won't go up by 10mhz.
