So i thought i would try to use the "paypal 1 click checkout" to order a phone case off of this website as a present, but after i ordered i relized that i had never entered the correct mail adress, a day later (today) i got a mail telling me that the adress was incorrect, and that i had to "go to your account and verify your shipping address and correct", but i cant because i never made an account on that website because i used paypal 1 click checkout.

I have corrected the adress on paypal, but my money isnt back so they expect me to verify my adress on my non excisting account. Any ideas?

Maybe if i create an account using the excact same info as my paypal account it will work?

It is possible, having a new account could seem fishy to them, but only if they notice its new

Maybe their server will check if i made any changes to my paypal account every day or so, because thats how long it took for them to relize that my adress was false

if they had a mail i could just tell them to check it again, but they only give me a phone number and im pretty sure they will speak french since the company is located in france

IIRC they will just use the address on your paypal account. Pretty sure that's why they make you "verify" it...

A company like paypal has translaters. If they didn't they would lower their target customers way to low to become what they are. I would try talking to them about it, it would be a good idea to at least try to get your problem across.

yeah, but the problem is that the adress on my paypal account was false at the time i ordered it, and according to the email they sent me that adress doesnt exist, ive now corrected it but im not sure if i have to verify it to have them look at it

the people i order from dont even give me a mail, so i guess paypal is the only way out

i just hope paypal doesnt say

"thats their business, you will have to contact them if you want to know the rules"

then the only way for me to correct it is by asking them to do it by phone

Pretty sure you'll be ok money wise. I'm sure paypal will refund you if there are any problems... that's why so many people use them - they offer a more secure way of paying that pretty much guarantees you get a refund if you have any issues

do you think it would be easier if i refunded my money, and then bought it again, this time using the correct adress?

Probably, depends if you are in a rush to get whatever you ordered... Cancelling now will obviously put back your order but if they can't verify your address I doubt they will have dispatched it yet anyway..
