Hello! I run a livestream/recording setup at a couple local Super Smash Bros. tournaments, and I usually split up all of the matches into different clips and then upload them to the respective channels. Today, I was planning on splitting up a clip and rendering all of them out. Right after I split up all of the clips, I render the first one. I test the file (as I always do) to check and make sure everything is in order. I immediately notice that there is absolutely no audio! I go back into Premiere, and realize that it is telling me that the clip has no audio to begin with. I double check the original file in VLC, and the file does INDEED have audio, yet Premiere is not recognizing it. Could this possibly a codec issue? I checked the audio codec with GSpot, and it tells me that it is simply MPEG-4 AAC LC, which Premiere SHOULD recognize fine. Any advice?

Thanks!

PS: Files recorded with XSplit, and I am using Premiere Pro CC.

you could just right click the video in the file explorer and separate the audio track as an mp3, then import separately into premiere

Pro Tip: don't use flash when taking pictures of your build; use a longer exposure instead. Prop up your camera with something (preferably a tripod) if necessary.

if you use retarded/autistic/etc to mean stupid please gtfo
