This is my build.

Memory: Corsair Dominator Platinum 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory Received 

 

Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" Solid State Disk 

 

Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive 

 

Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 2GB Video Card 

 

Case: Corsair 500R Black ATX Mid Tower Case 

 

Power Supply: Corsair 860W 80 PLUS Platinum Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply Received

i would have gone with 16GB and buy cheaper memory like vengeance. memory is memory. unless you are actually gonna make it look good and don't have a budget. imho

I thought about 16GB aswell but i didnt see a need for the extra 8 as i was only going to use the pc for gaming. 

+ the looks are somewhat irresistible in my eyes

Well if you ever do photo editing or video editing, make sure to get another 8gb because you will definitely need it.

Nice to see a red and black build with something other than ROG boards . Good job with the photography too.

Are you going to be doing a side window case mod? Also are you going to be using any leds with the build?

Like cutting a hole in the side of the panel and putting a piece of acrylic there.

Actually i looked at the side panel for the 500r and it would be really easy. There is already a cutout for the mesh. Just remove that and cut a piece of acrylic or have someone do it for you. Then you can just use 3m tape to stick it on, or you can screw it in for extra security.
