Hi Guys,

I'm Running a Seidon 120V V2 cooler.

I was wondering if you can reduce the pump Rpm or would it cause an issue with  the pump?

I used msi command centre and reduced the pump to 75% which dropped it from 2339 rpm to 1905 rpm.....

I didn't see a spike in temps or anything....

most pumps have set RPM ratios and only the options to swap modes from "performance" to "silent"

one does not simply reduce the pump RPM with custom curves

couldnt do it with corsair link on my h100i gtx

I know when I move the slider it reduces the voltage being sent to the pump which in turn reduces the current rpm of the pump.....

I've been through all my mobo settings.... the whining/buzzing sound from the pump is annoying BUT if some one can tell me yes thats fine or normal then i'll be happy I dont want to using a faulty unit and one day it stops working and my nice new skylake cpu burns itself out
