So I recently downloaded Mafia II because I loved playing it on my Xbox 360, however my experience hasn't been great so far.

I have a strange glitch where it always tells me to get rest at Joe's apartment. I can live with this. However, a new problem has surfaced and I can't find anything on line to help me.

When playing the game it will just freeze randomly, not the game, my whole PC locks up to the point I have to restart it. I don't think it's the game since any background music still plays fine, no looping or anything like that. The only thing I can think would be causing this freezing is my 300w PSU not being strong enough to run the system at full load. However I'm hoping it's not as much of an expensive issue, I also "adjusted" my money using a hex editor. Not to anything ridiculous, was only like 10k I think. I don't want to start the game over since I'm on chapter 9 and the start of the game isn't that fun IMO. I also reinstalled but kept the game save and still have the issue.

The specs for my rig can be found on my profile, it's the side of the list with the pentium based machine.

Any help is greatly apprecitated.
