Do not get triple SLI, that third card will not scale well at all and is a waste of money.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1yG1R

And this is why I chose that motherboard and ram, because it looks gorgeous for a blue build.

http://youtube.com/jtJJTo7OM1k?t=9m

Though honestly I would wait till AMD releases their new cards.

Also I would only spend about 2,000 and save some money, a lot of that is overkill, but if I had 3 grand to spend today and had to buy a computer that is what I would get, for sure.

Tyvm man :D

It is $15 over, hope you don't mind. You have 2 Titans in SLI, that is the most powerful solution you can get, also you have 6GB VRAM so 3 displays won't be a problem. I picked this motherboard because it has awesome onboard audio, so you don't need a soundcard and it's green, so it will go well with those green logos on the GPUs. Also I would recommend getting some Bitfenix Alchemy green sleeved cables and corsair fans, 2x SP120, 1x AF120 and 2x AF140, and a good thermal paste. This build is not just a beast for gaming, but also the most powerful workstation within area of 10km minimal. Overall it could be $3550.

TYVM! looks pretty awesome but the motherboard is green lol

You don't need 6GB for 3 monitors... my bud uses 2 7950s for 2560*1440 3 monitors just fine. Titans are a HUGE waste of money, wait till AMDs next GPUs.

The problem here is, 2 7950s max 3GB pretty fine. But a single 780 maxes 3GB, so if you have 2, you jump into an internal bottleneck. As somebody on this forum said: "780 is a Titan for those who don't want to SLI."

What are you going on about. 3GB is enough for even 7680x1440.

I am going about that spending $2000 on videocards that will be used to their full potential is better than spending $1300 on videocards, that won't be used to their full potential. And we are going to use a simple counting mechanic OK? We will start with 1080p, which we know that 2GB is enough for. 1920*1080=2073600 pixels. Now let's move up to 3 display surround: 5760*1080= 6220800 pixels. Now we will make this: 6220800/3=2073600. So 3 display surround uses 3 times more pixels that need to be saved somewhere. So 3*2=6GB. This is really the simpliest way of expression, there are other things, like 2 7950s handle 3 monitors just fine on 3GB, and wouldn't get an improvement with 6GB, because they aren't powerfull enough. 780s are a diffirent story. 1 780 can easily utilize 3GB, and 2 could run fine on 3 display surround, if you had 6GB you would get much higher performance.

But you are failing to see the hard proof. The proof is (as I linked in my post) that at 5760x1080, the SLI Titan only gets about 6-10 FPS more than SLI 780. Show me a benchmark where this isn't true, please. Because I showed you mine where it is. Are you saying 10 more FPS is worth 700 more dollars, forget "potential", show proof.

http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/geforce_gtx_780_sli_review,23.html

Metro - 5760x1080

SLI 780 = 52 FPS

SLI Titan = 59 FPS

Battlefield 3 - 5760x1080

SLI 780 = 61 FPS

SLI Titan = 67 FPS

FarCry 3 - 5760x1080p

SLI 780 = 59 FPS

SLI Titan = 64 FPS

----

Seems like your logic isn't working out with real-world results.

That doesn't mean anything to me... benchmarks please? Lol I know for a fact 3GB is PLENTLY of VRAM at 5670x1080, because its good enough at 7680x1440. It isn't until 7680x1440 that you will see a benefit from 6GB of RAM > 3, and the poster isn't going to be gaming in that super resolution regardless, and EVEN if he was, the performance difference isn't worth the increased price at all.

Guys mind yourselves, we are starting to argue. The OP can get whatever he wants, and your benchmarks from current games mean really nothing to me. When you buy a Titan, you think about upcoming standards, like gaming on 4K, which the rich OP might consider.

Titans are a waste of money, unless you are running triple screen 1440p monitors. And even then they don't help *that much*. Even with new gen games coming out 3GB is enough. Just look at Last Light 7680x1440 benchmarks. By the time 3GB isn't enough, the "raw power" of a Titan won't be enough either (think 3-5 years), ergo Titans are a waste.

With that budget the only snart options for GPUS are SLI 780s, or wait for AMD cards (which is the more intelligent choice).

I'm just informing the OP with hard evidence so he doesn't blow his money. Your talk of "future games" means nothing as you don't know the requirements, no one does. What I do know however, is that we are no were near using all 3GB of VRAM at 5670x1080 currently, so it will be a while before that happens. When it does (and it will, no argument there) it will be so far down the line that a Titan will be (or at least starting to be) outdated and antiquated and the poster will need a GPU upgrade regardless.

Smart choice, wait for AMD next release of cards.

Are the monitors in the budget?

Your build is a waste of money for gaming.

Converting currencies is inaccurate.

What's your actual budget in yen and where are you shopping?

Note that the motherboard is the solution number two, at first I counted with Intel DZ87KLT-75K. That one is blue and hi-end. Unfortunately I couldn't find it on PCPartPicker.
If you get some Bitfénix Alchemy blue sleeved cables it should look awesome.

Yes!

So you bought the monitors already.

They are 1440p, yes?

As @HansIsGodly already said, there's nothing that would really run 1440p smoothly--at least within a practical price.

Are you okay with a build just for gaming on a single 1440p display?
