network file transfer crashes windows explorer

So I was inspired by the video and bought some old server hardware and built a system. Windows installed great with no problems but when I tried to install my software that I keep on my Synology NAS, Explorer crashed. Explorer crashes whenever I try to copy a file to the NAS or even right click a file on the NAS. I can copy from the NAS but I only get about 6MB/s over a gigabit connection (that I can usually get about 50-60MB/s) but no other computers in the house have trouble copying to or from the NAS. I can copy perfectly fine between flash drives and other internal disks just not network. The internet connection however is fine and I can transfer files faster from the Synology faster over the web UI than my LAN

I have tried on Windows XP, 7, and 10, with different LAN drivers between XP and 7.

I am at my wits end with it as none of the solutions I have found describe my situation exactly and/or haven't been successful

Hardware:

Supermicro X7DCL-3 Mobo

Xeon X5450

Dual gigabit LAN

120GB SSD

Nvidia Quadro FX4800

Thank you
