Modding a cooler master elite 310?

I've got a coolermaster elite 310 and it doesn't support a dual 120 rad in it, and I really want a h100I. I'm wondering if it's possible to cut a hole in the top of the case, weld some mesh in and drill the holes for the mounting of the rad? I think I've got all the tools I need (dremel, arc welder, etc...) but I really want to know if I should do a honey comb mesh or not?

You could, but where would your PSU go? Or are you thinking of cutting away the top drive bay and putting the H100i there instead? For mesh it's really up to you, i personally like honeycomb mesh, but it's down to ones own taste really.
