So I got a new i5 6600k, 8gb G. Skill DDR4 V series RAM, and the ASRock Pro4s for Christmas. Upon building, everything powered on, fans spun, but nothing came out of the onboard graphics, and after a lot of testing, I returned the Motherboard. I just got a gigabyte UD3, and now nothing powers on, no lights, no fans spin. I took out the PSU and tried shorting, (green wire to black on the 24 pin) and the fans connected spun. Could it be another bad motherboard, a semi broken PSU, or something else?

My top guesses without more information would be bad RAM or badly seated ATX 24pin connector (yes, even on two different motherboards. Those things sometimes take so much force to seat that it feels like you'll snap the motherboard).

I speak the honest truth with a bit of snark mixed in. I'm sorry if it doesn't line up with your beliefs.
