Laptop battery dying randomly

The battery in my laptop has been acting strangely lately. After leaving it overnight to charge and then using it the next day the battery is at 0% like it never charged. When using it today the battery was at 50% and just died randomly only turning on after I plugged the power cord in. I have a feeling that it is on its last legs, but who knows. Anyone have ideas on what to do/what could be wrong?

Yeah that sounds like a battery that's dying . Shouldn't be hard to find a replacement battery though, depending on the laptop
