AMD's APUs can run in dual graphics mode with certain amd discrete graphics cards. Other than that, it doesn't matter

Guys I'm here less or more for opinions. So is there some trade-off when putting together AMD CPU/APU and Nvidia GPU or Intel CPU and AMD GPU?

I would say an intel chip with an AMD GPU, the AMD seems to be leading slightly by with GPU's lately, and when DX12 is more mainstream they will benefit, intel is definitely leading with CPU's for any more intensive tasks. I personally have an intel CPU and an Nvidia GPU because I like shadowplay and I got good deals on the GPU's I got when I got them.

edit: Didn't see the last question, face-palm =P
