nah, if you`re really in for performance get an ssd for programs you use most offen, the rest of your shit can just get stored on a decent HDD.

I also got tricked by WD black, it aint that good

Ok. I've allready got a decent SSD. The thing is that my HDD just crashed... :(

According to my site the Seagate will transfer 210MB/s and the WD 164MB/s. Is this some wrong information or what, I'm confused :/

I'm sorry if it's in Swedish though that's kinda the only comparison site I use... :P

Hello!

I'm shopping for a new 2TB HDD and im wondering if a Seagate Barracuda is good or if I should go for a WD Black? I've heard that the WD Black is good but is it really worth almost dubble the price?

Go for WD Black, Seagate is terrible. Has higher failure rate than WD.

Or just get a WD Caviar Blue.

"Sulit" (adj.) something that is worth it

HDD aren`t that exciting and Seagate doesn`t even fail THAT often, it`s just that WD pays off in the long term. So I`d go with a caviar blue

to game or not to game, that`s the question

I will be using it for storage and games that I don't play that frequently

I'd say get the Seagate, I use them because they're cheaper than the WD blacks, and have larger capacity than the WD blues.

Care to show some proof behind your accusation that Seagate is "Terrible", heresy.

Green drive should be enough but blue is best bet probably

WD Greens are not really recommended unless you're just storing stuff on it, they're really slow.
