Logitech G430 owners out there? Are your G430s super quiet too?

My Logitech G430s are too quiet and I started to think that I have bought a faulty headset but apparently many people have this problem so a broken headset is unlikely. I have been using it in my PC with the sound card included and, though the 7.1 sound quality itself is great, the volume is so quiet, even when every single volume option is maxed out, and when I say every option, I mean EVERY option. My £15 headset is louder than this by quite a lot. Is there a way to fix this without the sound quality becoming distorted or ruined with still using 7.1 surround sound?

Yup, I don't currently own a G430 but I sold my pair for that exact reason. It was decent enough on PC to get by (I had system volume at 100 as well as applications like Skype and games). However, on consoles like the PlayStation 4 and pretty much everywhere else it was far too quiet for my liking. I ended up picking up the Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma.
