They don't do refunds or exchanges anymore, no matter what since they're liquidating, so I'd be cautious.

I was wonder if tiger direct was a decent place to buy stuff from case they have a sale for a xfx psu for $48 USD but the store gets 1 star reviews. Is tiger direct a reputable seller like newegg or ncix or should I pay $80 for the psu from a reputable seller ?

XFX PSUs are great because they're made by Seasonic. Just to let ya know.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

I used to have a tiger direct near me but they closed. I mean as long as its not like $20 more there than ordering online then I see why not buy something from there.

Tigerdirect is fine as far as trustability. They were the newegg of the late 90's early 2000's.

They're currently dropping as much product as they can, and are no longer restocking or accepting refunds of any kind, so what you buy is what you get, period.

But if it's broken you can return it to the manufacturer. Under warranty.

I'm not sure if manufacturer RMAs cover physical damage. I'd still wouldn't order from them in case the PC part gets damaged during delivery.

It's $66 CAD there and $110 CAD every where else

Sure, they're a successful franchise so they can't really scam you. So yeah it seems like a really good deal.
