ears hurting after using g930 ?

Go to solution Solved by Volbet,

No , but i haven't used this type of headset in a long time.

Other headsets and earphones i have no problem with , so i was thinking it was because of the g930 ?

I guess it could be earache, but that is usually caused by either infections or direct pressure to the eardrum, and neither seems to be the case here.

And if the pain comes regardless of sound then sound pressure is probably not the cause either.

It could be that the headset is putting pressure in the wrong places. Earache can develope if pressure is put on the jaw bone or the bone just behind the ear.

However, I have only heard of this being a possibility and i have never know anyone that has experieced this.

But I guess it's worth a shot to try adjusting the headphones. Try adjusting the headstrap a litlle and maybe try to place them a bit differently on your head.

So I'm using my new logitech g930's , and after barely an hour of use , my eardrums start to hurt  ( like when in airplane or under water ).

I then have to take them off, and put them back on later.

Is this linked to the headset ?

It would be weird if your ears hurt like it resulted from a change in air pressure. Nothing in a pair of headphones should result in a change of pressure.

How loud is the music you are listning to? Maybe turn it down a bit.

First thing i thought of , but it seems to happen also when i am just browsing my computer , not listening to anything.

Hmm, have you experienced this with other headphones? If you have, then it could be a medical problem.

Some people are sensitive to wearing headphones, sound or no sound. If you experience pain with other headphones I would recommend seeing an ENT doctor.
