OBS Blackscreen

Every time I try to record Battlefield 4 it just creates a blackscreen, it records the audio though. I have looked at the OBS FAQ and nothing about blackscreen is helpful. I am not playing on a laptop and have made sure I have picked the correct game to record. My 3 other games I've tried worked.

Game record/window record?  Borderless window or fullscreen?  Etc, all these settings matter.

Try running DX11 instead. I remember there was something with Mantle once, don't quite recall what it was, but there was something. Run the 64 bit Battlefield 4 DX11

I think only GVR function in Raptr a.k.a AMD Gaming Evolved can record Mantle gameplay, if you want to use OBS you need to play in Borderless and record your desktop instead.

Well, just tried Raptr and it makes my Battlefield freeze everytime...great.

Try running DX11 instead. I remember there was something with Mantle once, don't quite recall what it was, but there was something. Run the 64 bit Battlefield 4 DX11

 

Doesn't work with DX11 either, doesn't record and causes like 30-40 FPS drop.
