for gaming, a quad core is capable of running your game smoothly and do some little multitasking besides that, are u going to produce any video content? if no then 8gb of ddr4 is more then enough.

 

if u really want a AMD cpu then go for a FX-8350. your choice to make :)

ow, well that has to do with the CPU the AMD AM3+ socket is almost 7 years old and the skylake CPU i chosen came this year out and intel is certain it's going to produce it's next gen also on the LGA1151 (your MOBO socket) and the 8GB memory is DDR4 memory which is newer when u compare it to DDR3 and that's where the price lies
