Hi, I have an xbox one and recently all of my controllers have been disconnecting when paired wirelessly. To resolve this I have been using the 2m cable that came with the official play and charge kit that microsoft sells. This was working fine for me (although it is a little too short) until recently as the cable is breaking and my controller disconnects every time I so much as move my hand. Does anyone have any recommendations for a quality cable for the xbox one controller that's about 3m long? Preferably UK websites/stores.

All cables work the same electronically, but some have better build quality, so will last longer and be easier to use. In one of his Handy Tech episodes, Linus just said it is best to get 50 really cheap cables and have them for whenever you need them, and toss them out when they break, rather than buying a good one. However, I did buy a 3 m USB A extension cable (male-female) for £4.09, which charges devices really slowly because of its length. It may not work well for data (controlling), but you could try it if you had a short micro USB cable.
