Hey guys, was just wondering how to fix the worst bottleneck in my system, as the power and age of my parts greatly vary, and to know what to upgrade next and to what would be recommended for a better gaming experience.

My Rig:

1920x1080 16:9 LED monitor (~5 years old)

GTX 980 Ti Gigabyte G1 (~1 month old)

Core 2 Extreme QX9650 3.00GHz OC 4.00GHz (~3 years old [actually made in 2008])

8 GBs of 1066Mhz DDR ECC RAM (Been in here forever, ~7 years old [MAX FOR MOTHERBOARD])

DX38BT Intel Workstation Motherboard SATA II, 6 SATA ports, USB 2.0, Socket 775/T

(Don't remember model) High-End Noctua air cooler

Big Antec case with many fans on high

Gold Power Supply

Windows 10 Enterprise x64

1 San Disk Extreme 120GB, 1 Samsung 830 128GB, 1 Samsung 840 Evo 120GB, 1 Samsung 850 Pro 128GB (All in a RAID 5) for 335GBs total

Thanks!

Thanks! Just followed it. My dad is super stingy about the motherboard upgrading though, as we would need to get new RAM, new CPU, and a new cooler as well (Already have an expensive cooler that I wouldn't be able to use anymore). Any recommendations for upgrades? Bday is in 2 months, and we don't want to spend too much on a board, but still want to have high upgradeability for future processors.
