NVME SSD wont work!

Hi All,

Well I got a 950 Pro just before xmas, loaded it all up and was all working fine. I loaded it up on Xmas evening to play some games before shutting it down for the evening. I have been out since then and have come back to find that the 950 Pro is no longer been recognized in either my motherboards M.2 slot or the PCI-E Adapter card I have got. I have tried multiple times with multiple different configs but cannot get it to be seen by the BIOS like it had been in the past.

I have updated the BIOS to the latest and used all the same settings. This didn't work. I then downgraded to my original BIOS which also didn't work.

I have now taken the Drive and the adapter out of my main PC and put it into my old NAS's system. It is still not been seen by that. One thing to note, is that the little light on top of the adapter card is green and has been visible on every boot, so the actual drive I believe is getting power, Also the NVME drive itself is getting warm to the touch as it did before this issue...

 

Any suggestions guys or is it looking to be dead?

the heat........ get used to it. think they need to reinvent the heatsink for these.
