Would this build work? Like would the psu cables connect to the mobo/would the cpu fit in the motherboard. I am new to building pc's so sorry if i sound stupid asking this. I already have the cpu and case incase you were wondering.

pcpartpicker mostly states it below if your rig wont work, which appears almost everytime when there is no compatibility

Yeah, But I strongly recommend an SSD. Load times will be much better, boot times, in game performance will also be better. Future proof it Only other thing id suggest is 16 gb of ram. But yes it would work.

the CPU must fit correctly in your mobo, and for your PSU don't worry it's semi-modular this means that u have the important cables already hooked up for you the only cables u might hook up are the pci cables.

 

but maybe u can take this is concideration, why choose LGA1155? i would choose for LGA1150 and go for a Z97 motherboard if u want to upgrade it in the future.
