Complicated PC

Hackthesystem

Helllo guys,

My dad wants me to build a pc for his one man company with the following requirements:

-CPU for video editing

-GPU that can be used to for graphics accelerated tasks (will probably be a GTX 970)

-2 500GB SSD's

-4 64 GB SSD's to have multiple OS'es (Win 7, Win 10, Linux, Mac OSX)

-Shit loads of USB ports

-an eSata port

-a LAN port

-a 4g card to use the 4g network in my country (does it even exist?)

-Hackintosh combatible

-SD card reader

-smartcard reader

-bluetooth

-everything as silent as possible

-a 1440p IPS monitor (will probably be the DELL ultrasharp U2715h)

I am not really sure if I need to go X99 but he wants to be able to add more HDD's or SSD's so maybe it is best to go X99 since that platform has 10 SATA ports and he can also use the extra cores on the X99 platform...

Can you guys suggest me a build? If possible, I would like to use the Fractal Design Define r5 as a case.

Greets,

Hackthesystem

Budget is not really decided yet, I just have to give him a price of the PC and he will tell me if it is to high... And I live in Belgium :-)

Firstly, does he NEED a 2500GB SSD? Or is it just for brags? He could just get a raided HDD and that would do him more good.

Well, reliability and cost are things to consider.

LOL SAW 2 x 500 GB AS 2500GB DERP PLS IM SORRY VERY SORRY

Is x99 supported with the hackintoshes..? I would try to find info on what high end intel CPU's that work with hackintoshes and then the mobo's. That is probably going to be the hardest to do.

I think they are, but setting up a MACINTOSH system software is even harder than making a part list for it.

Yes, he actually does... He wants the 2 500GB SSD's for 1 copy of win 7 to use as a the main OS, than he wants multiple other OS'es to get them to know better and to try an test new things that he does not want to have on his main OS...

The installation of OSX will not be a problem, I've done it multiple times before and I am willing to put a lot of time in the procces to make it work ;)

You then have 2 3.5 slots on the front panel, this can one be used for 3.0 USB port and as the SD card reader, at of this moment pcpartpicker doesnt have a good search on it.
Expect a 10-20% pricing increased even after currency conversion from the US link for parts due to import fees and tax.
The smart card reader can be USB 3.0ed in, since i dont think an 3.5 inch form factor drive slot exist.

Thanks a lot, I had approximately the same build in my mind but I already have all the OS'es so they can be left out in the calculations ;) Also, with your build, I am still stuck on the 4g card thing... :/

Is it something like this?

I saw things like this in laptops, never desktops.

-EDIT-

This thing like steals the wifi card pins haha, what a clever little thing but looks obnoxious tbh.

Well, about that AMD thingy... nah, Intel/Nvidia fanboy over here ;)

I've found an SD card reader I used in previous builds and it has eSata on it, so I am going to with that one... ;)https://www.alternate.be/Icy-Box/IB-867-B-USB3-0-+-eSATA-3-5-bk-Kaartlezer/html/product/1058783?event=search
