Hello all,

I am planning to buy an Intel i7 6700k for my new computer. I have recently heard that Skylake CPUs have been bending due to force from the cooler not complying with how much force the said CPUs can handle. I am concerned and I would like to know what I can do to prevent this, or if I am at risk of this at all. All help is appreciated, thank you in advance.

It mostly effected pre-builts or builds being shipped.

You're fine.

Just remember: Random people on the internet ALWAYS know more than professionals, when someone's lying, AND can predict the future.
