Cooling (A8-7600)

I have a simple question.. I gave someone an A8-7600 rig for christmas. Now I just want to make sure he'll be all good through the following days, months and years.

He just plays NBA 2k15 and Dota2.

Is it fine I gave it w/ just stock CPU cooler? Or should i have installed a better one?

Mostly around how much temp will he be receiving at full load with the stock cooler?

I hope I can receive responses for those who has experience or maybe from those who owns an APU.

Thank you guys!

If gaming with the iGPU I'd advise a 212 EVO just to keep temps and noise down and prolong life

Like a CM Hyper 212 evo can do the cooling job.

The stock cooler is fine. Temps will vary depending on the environment and the system's airflow.

Thank you very much. Coz it'll be hard for me to get a new cooler for it since im out of budget and I already gave it as a present.

If you can please check the airflow if I made the right decision..

1st here's the case that I used. Link.

It has 2 fans, front and top.

Originally:

Front = Intake

Top = Exhaust

What I did is I reversed the Orientation of top.

Making it both Intake fans. Because I believe that the air goes out of its own.

Did I make the right decision? And is the airflow inside that small case good enough? Thank you so much!

The top fans would provide better cooling as exhaust.

But isnt it better to have a positive pressure inside the case?

Positive airflow can be helpful for keeping dust out with proper placement of dust filters but that's about all its useful for. Neutral or negative airflow tends to be better for cooling.
