A quick check on compatibility

as a second time pc builder, im still not confident in my ability to choose compatible parts. so im wandering if someone could quickly check before i build this pc for my nephew.

 

Parts:

 

         Case:

                   NZXT s340

 

         Proccessor:

                   Intel I5 6600k

 

         MotherBoard:

                   Asus Z170 Pro Gaming

 

         RAM:

                   Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB DDR4-2400 CL15 kit

 

         Graphics Card: (already purchased)

                  Gigabyte G1 gaming 980

 

         Power Supply:

                   Corsair RM750X

 

         Storage:

                   250gb SSD

                   1 TB HD

 

i know i did not include a CPU cooler, but its just a water cooler, so i already know i wont have problems with space or where to put it.

If you use pcpartpicker.com it automatically checks the compatibility but to me it looks ok.

When talking compatibility, there's no problem. But I would choose a 390X instead of a 980. Fairly lower priced but performs very similar, with 8gb vram.

All looks good to me. The RAM isn't on the QVL, but that isn't uncommon. So many RAM variants that it isn't worth testing them all, too expensive.

I stated that the 980 had already been purchased. i must say my sister is not the brightest. but that isnt very important. thank you
